Academic
All facilities of the University of Cincinnati are available to the students in the College of Nursing. The College of Nursing's building, William Cooper Procter Hall, is located midway between the Medical Center complex (East campus) and the West campus. Well-equipped class and conference rooms and faculty offices provide an atmosphere conducive to work and study. Housed within the Center for Academic Technologies and Educational Resources (CATER) is a microcomputer laboratory equipped as an electronic classroom for group viewing of both computer and video software. In addition, a media library provides opportunities for learning utilizing videotapes, slides/tape, and computer-assisted interactive videodiscs.

Clinical
Opportunities are available for clinical experience in providing care for persons of all ages from various socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds and in many stages of health and illness. Selected family settings, hospitals, industries, clinics, and community agencies in Greater Cincinnati and surrounding areas are used for clinical experience. Clinical facilities are selected that provide learning experiences which meet nursing course objectives.

Libraries
The Solomon W. Levi Memorial Library has a collection of more than 10,000 books and 450 journal titles. A trust fund, established by the late Mrs. Charles Schram of New York City, provides an annual income for the purchase of books. The Phoebe Miller Kandel Historical Collection is an invaluable section of the Levi Library.

The Center for Academic Technologies and Educational Resources (CATER) provides a comprehensive nursing information resource center. Instructional media consultation, classroom media support, clinical nursing skill practice resources, and a networked computer facility are also available.
