The College of Public Health at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences
Center has a 30 year history of leadership in education and research. Students
in each area of concentration work with a multidisciplinary faculty to prepare
for the challenges of public health in the future. The depth of academic
experience is broadened by the research climate at the College of Public Health.
Research areas include diabetes, heart disease, highway safety, residential
exposure to outdoor air pollution, teen pregnancy and tobacco prevention
programs. The College also has an extensive commitment to research in Native
American health issues. In addition to four academic departments, the college is
home to four centers dedicated exclusively to research.
